Dawn rises on a field of corpses, sunlight glinting off broken spears and shields. 

The armies of God-Queen Marata cannot cross the Gravelight River, for a single hero bars the way: Kaira, Child of the Sun. A divine champion who slays armies atop a golden chariot pulled by celestial steeds.

If this war was an epic, Kaira would be the hero of it. And we? The fodder slain to prove the hero’s excellence...

...but still we strive to win. To overturn fate itself. To SLAY THE DEMIGOD.

SLAY THE DEMIGOD is a roleplaying game about the mortal champions of an Iron Age army and their desperate struggle to defeat a seemingly unstoppable demigod hero.

Players of SLAY THE DEMIGOD take on the role of chariot-mounted aristocrats, shield-bearing infantry, nimble slingers, and silver-tongued poets. By night, they feast, conspire, and prepare for battle. By day, they try to survive Kaira the Hero's onslaught long enough to discover the demigod's fatal flaws.
