LAST CHARGE OF THE SENTRY ARCANES
A downloadable game
A fleet of living warships emerges from the depths of space - not aliens, but soldiers of an empire let by a synthetic god. They claim to bring salvation, but their conquest shall wipe away everything the people of Eå have come to love.
In the face of an armada that blots out stars in the sky, the Grand Houses of Eå unveil their ultimate weapons: the Sentry Arcanes. Elegant war machines from a bygone age. Robots who choose only the noblest riders to pilot them into battle.
Will the newly anointed Sentry Riders and their Sentry Arcanes defeat the colonizers? Or will poets sing of their doomed last stand until the end of time?

LAST CHARGE OF THE SENTRY ARCANES is a baroque space opera TTRPG about chivalrous heroes and mech pilots defending a far-future earth from an mighty stellar empire.
It's also sort of a combination of ideas from my two previous TTRPGS: Giants of Steel, my love letter to the Mecha genre, and Armored Bones, a Soulslike fantasy RPG with Tarot Card mechanics.
Give this game a try if:
– You're looking for a TTRPG that doesn't need a Game Master and can be played by 3-5 people.
- You love works of weird science fantasy about far-future earths with strange cultures: Book of the New Sun, the Dying Earth, The Tempered Steel of Antiquity Grey, the Destiny video games, etc.
- You want to experience a narrative about chivalrous mech pilots who fight against the forces of empire and either win gloriously or die heroically.
- You want to assemble a unique and colorful mech by drawing cards from a Tarot Deck.

Also want to give a shout-out to Charlotte Laskowski and Binary Star Games, whose incredibly fascinating Celestial Bodies TTRPG inspired me to create yet another Mech RPG!

I always love a game that has 'heroic sacrifice' baked into the mechanics, and the options for the mech customisation look so fun. I don't know if any of my friends own tarot decks, but I'm going to have to ask them, this looks incredible!
Glad to hear you're keen on my game! :)
If you're lacking a good Tarot Deck, one resource you can use is this Tiny Tarot browser app that's hosted here on itch.io:
https://raindrinker.itch.io/tiny-tarot
This app currently only lets you draw and shuffle around Major Arcana cards....which works out nice, since the gameplay mechanics of LAST CHARGE OF THE SENTRY ARCANES use a Tarot deck that's split apart into its Major and Minor Arcana cards.
With the Tiny Tarot app and a normal deck of playing cards, you should be able to play LCotSA with little issue.
Alternately, you can use the non-Tarot Deck alternative suggested in the recently released "His Majesty The Worm." Rolling a twenty-sided die to randomly select Major Arcana cards, using a deck of playing cards for the Minor Arcana, and counting the Joker as the Fool whenever you draw it
Hello, I really like your game and I'm looking forward to find friend to play Last Charge. Quick question concerning the threat dossier : when the players meet Dame Adelia Holt from the Fool card, what happens when the pilot pile has a sum between 11 and 16 ?
Glad to hear you liked my ttrpg! Hope your friends enjoy Last Charge of the Sentry Arcanes!
That "11 to 16" gap in the "FOOL' entry of the Threat Dossier is a typo: it should be "6 to 15" for a partial success result and "16+" for a critical success.
Also, I corrected that typo and others as of the most recent game update!
