GIANTS OF STEEL – Version 0.6 Update!


Greetings, valiant Pilots!

After a span of play testing and a longer span of rules tinkering, a major update of the GIANTS OF STEEL Mecha sci-fi roleplaying has arrived!

Here are some of the major changes in Version 0.6:

– New dice-rolling mechanics and Mission Scene rules designed to make gameplay flow more quickly and let Pilots with low Guts attribute ratings contribute to fights.

– Heavily revised Pilot and Mech Readouts documents, their rules simplified so everything can fit on a single page.

– New Muster Phase rules that let players design their own Weapon/System Parts to install on their Mech Readouts.

– A Setting Creation section designed to help players and Mission Commanders create their own distinct giant robot campaign worlds.

–Simplified, streamlined rules Mission Commanders can use to design enemies and antagonist for their combat Missions.

The stat blocks and NPC write-up in the Tech Force Prime Quickstart aren't currently compatible with the rules of GIANTS OF STEEL  v0.6.  That might change in the future; alternately, the Tech Force Prime Quickstart might be reworked to be less linear and more customizable for players who want to put their own spin on the setting.
